CrunchDeals: Star Trek Online for $28, Collector’s Edition for $48

Summer will be here before you know it, so that means it’s time to stock up on anything that’ll keep you out of the sun. In that spirit, Amazon has discounted both the standard and Collector’s Edition of the new-ish Star Trek Online franchise.
The standard edition will set you back $28 (selling for $45+ elsewhere) and the Collector’s Edition, which features “additional bonus items including unique packaging, descriptive material, and in-game items,” is on sale for $48 (selling for $80+ elsewhere).
Both games are for the PC and the sale is good today only.

CrunchDeals: All AT&T phones free on Wirefly until midnight tonight

Wirefly.com is selling its entire stock of AT&T handsets for free after instant discount with a new two-year contract. Note that the store doesn’t sell iPhones, though. You’ll have to go to Best Buy or directly to AT&T for those.
The deal is good until midnight tonight and it’s for new AT&T customers. If you’re an existing AT&T customer due for an upgrade, most of the phones can still be had for free with a few exceptions—BlackBerry Bold 9700 is $50, BlackBerry 8820 is $60, HP iPAQ Glisten is $70—along with a few others. There are still some good freebies, though: BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve, HTC Pure, Nokia E71x, and plenty more.

CrunchDeals: DJ Hero (Xbox 360) for $59

If the $120 price tag that initially accompanied DJ Hero as it made its way to market in late October of last year seemed a bit steep to you (and apparently, you weren’t alone) then you may be interested to hear that you can get the Xbox 360 bundle for $59 from JR.com.
The kit includes the game with “80+ DJ mixes” and the turntable controller. JR.com claims that you’re saving $100 off the previous price of $159.97, to which I suggest that JR.com should “stop frontin’.” That’s a thing, right? Frontin’? Trying to sell a $120 game at $160 is frontin’.

Hot deal on a Blu-ray VHS combo player

I’ll be honest with you. This was an odd product to see first thing on a Monday morning. Take the futuregasm known as Blu-ray and mix it with the nostalgia of VHS and you’ve got the Panasonic DMP-BD70V. Normally selling for $200 and up, Amazon’s got it for $140 today.
You won’t get a fancy DVD/Blu-ray recording feature for converting your old tapes to a newer format and I’m pretty sure the piracy gods haven’t condoned recording a Blu-ray disc to VHS tape, although if they had a sense of humor they’d allow it.
Aside from Blu-ray and VHS playback, you get an SD card slot and USB input, upconversion to 1080p for digital media, 7.1-channel audio, and “VIERA Cast internet functionality for enjoying online entertainment from YouTube, Amazon VOD, and more.”
The deal is good today only. Tomorrow the price goes back up to $200.

CrunchDeals: MLB 2K10 on Wii for $30
Hard to think about baseball during the dead of winter but MLB 2K10 is coming out on March 2nd. Barnes and Noble has a hell of a preorder deal on the Wii version, too, at just $30.
You also get a $5 coupon good towards any MLB-licensed headwear at Lids, Locker Room, Hat World or Hat Shack. You know, in the hat district. The coupon will come packed inside the game and can be redeemed at any of the above locations or online at Lids.com until the end of the year.

CrunchDeals: Samsung Blu-ray player with Netflix for only $100
Isn’t it grand that Blu-ray players keep dropping in price. Like this Samsung BD-P1590. First off, it’s a refurb, but you still get a 3-month warrenty on a player that offers so much for the money. I would buy it.
This isn’t a stripped-down model. Oh no, this player is equipped with everything from BD-Live playback to Netflix, Blockbuster, YouTube, and Pandora support. Plus it has the usual HDMI outputs and all the rest. Totally worth it for only $100. [TigerDirect via DealNews]

CrunchDeals: Buy two, get one free Xbox 360 Platinum hits
Oh, winter snowstorms. Your lion’s roar is but a cat’s meow provided you don’t knock out the power or prevent the UPS or FedEx trucks from completing their routes.
If you do knock out the power or render delivery services immobile, then you’re an asshole. An asshole of a storm.
If not, please feel free to continue canceling school and work for everyone (except bloggers and other work-from-home professionals) while we all play video games.
Long story short (too late) if you need Xbox 360 games to play, Amazon’s doing a buy-two-get-one-free deal on Platinum Hits titles. Just add three to your cart and the lowest priced one will carry the low, low price of nothing.
Deal ends next Saturday, February 13th.
