Philips Fidelio wireless speaker takes the Bluetooth route

Philips has released its Fidelio wireless speaker that will communicate with devices over a Bluetooth connection, which also allows you to enjoy your favorite MP3 tunes over your iPad when the iPad is docked within. Two 3-inch full range woofers are capable of churning out 15-Watts (x2) RMS output - enough to rock a room, but definitely not powerful enough to handle a party. Apart from that, A2DP/AVRCP Bluetooth connectivity is also supported, where a Fidelio App can be downloaded and used with your phone. Each purchase will come with a remote control for you to maintain your couch potato lifestyle, where you can handle volume levels and playback of tracks from afar. No idea on how long the battery can last though.

Toshiba AC100 Android smartbook hits the United Kingdom
Hey, there little guy! That's the Toshiba AC100 -- an Android 2.1 smartbook with Toshiba's custom user interface -- on show in the UK, where you can now grab one up. The 10.1-inch, 1.9-pounder has yet to show its face anywhere near the US, but as for specs it's got a 1GHz Tegra 250 SoC, a 32GB SSD, 512MB of DDR2 memory, 802.11n WiFi, optional 3G, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and an HDMI port. While it's listed on Amazon you still can't actually order one of these bad boys stateside, but if you're in the UK, you can grab one up for
NES Controller Used to Play Super Mario Bros. 3 on Android Phone

What better way to play NES games on an Android smartphone, than with a real NES controller? This custom homebrew setup allows you to do just that. You'll need "an Arduino board, a BlueSMiRF Bluetooth module, and a classic NES control pad." Video after the break.

FCC takes a look at LG E900 and LG E720

Both the LG E900 and LG E720 have also paid a visit to the FCC, where the former will feature GSM 850 and 1900 radio frequencies alongside 3G data connectivity. When it comes to remaining connected to other devices and friends, fret not - expect Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to do the job perfectly, while a 1GHz Snapdragon System-on-Chip will hum along perfectly without breaking a sweat as you go about your everyday tasks on this new smartphone. As for the Android-powered LG E720, very little else is known about it since there wasn't any mention of WCDMA 850, 1900, or AWS for 3G data, but only EDGE which is so passe. Let's hope that more light will be shed on the latter in due time.

LG’s E900 and E720 handsets hit the FCC, one with AT&T-compatible frequencies
We knew LG's C900 QWERTY-packing Windows Phone 7 handset was sliding towards an AT&T finish line, but it's looking like the company's E900 slate phone might play for Team Blue as well -- here's an FCC report (the third Federal scoop in an hour!) that shows the handset boasting GSM 850 and 1900 radio frequencies as well as compatible 3G data. You can also expect Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz WiFi alongside that 1GHz Snapdragon SoC when or if the handset hits US shores. We don't know nearly as much about the Android-based LG E720 (which apparently just popped in for a quick Bluetooth test) but a filing suggests it might not be destined for the US -- unlike with the E900, there's no mention of WCDMA 850, 1900, or AWS for 3G data, only the comparatively slow EDGE.
